Service Description
Your body already knows. This is an invitation to slow down and listen to it. To the quiet signals. The held emotions. The deep wisdom that lives beneath the noise of everyday life. Somatic sessions are a body-based approach to therapy and healing. Rather than working primarily through talking, we work through the body itself. Through breath, movement, stillness, sensation, and presence. We slow down enough to feel what is actually here, and we let that lead. This work is for you if you are moving through stress, burnout, grief, or life transition. If you are carrying something you haven't been able to put into words. If you long to feel more at home in yourself, more alive in your own skin, more connected to your own depth. Each session is slow, intentional, and co-created between us. There is no fixed formula. We follow your rhythm, your nervous system, and what is alive in you that day. You might be lying down, in motion, or in stillness. You might be talking, or you might not be. It is shaped by you. These sessions are best experienced in person. There is something about being physically present together, in the same air, on the same ground, that allows the work to go somewhere it simply cannot online. And when we can, we take it outside. Nature is not a backdrop here. It is part of the work. The trees, the earth, the sky, the movement of seasons beneath your feet. These things regulate the nervous system in ways that are ancient and immediate. There is something that opens in a human body when it is held by the natural world that four walls simply cannot replicate. If you are drawn to working outdoors, know that this is not unusual. It is, for many people, where the deepest work happens. This is not about fixing anything. It is about honouring what is here, and letting the body guide the way home. You will leave with a deeper relationship with your body. Knowing how to listen to it. How to tend to it. How to express from a place of wholeness rather than survival. Many people leave feeling lighter, more grounded, and more at home in themselves. You will also take away regulating practices and embodied tools to carry into your everyday life. These sessions are designed for in-person contact, in Byron Bay, Lismore, and Sydney, and in nature wherever the season calls us. Online is available in certain circumstances. Cancellation Policy
Booking & Cancellations All new clients begin with a free 15-minute consult call to see if we’re a good fit and clarify which offering suits your needs. Sessions are by appointment only and can be booked once intake and consent forms are completed. Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed. This confirms your session time and supports a clear, grounded start to our work together. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or missed sessions may be charged in full unless there is an emergency. Punctuality Please arrive on time. Sessions cannot be extended for late arrivals, as this ensures respect for both our time and energy. Mutual Respect This work is grounded in clear agreements, care, and respect for one another.
